Increasing global use of technology in everyday chores has raised the need for electric power our lives constant thereby becomes very paramount smooth running modern systems. In Nigeria incessant outages have led to failures systems and sometimes lives, necessitating multiple sources homes, offices industries, each which costs differently use. This work presents design implementation a microcontroller based source selector with priority selector. The inclusion selection means can be selected on its cost or quality/availability. When is prioritized by then mains first before generator, when both are absent solar optionally available selection. uninterruptible (UP) better quality three stepped down using separate step transformers, output rectified sampled an ATmega328 programmed C++ language select most appropriate Cost quality/availability, commands relays that perform switching action i.e. connecting load source. system was simulated Proteus simulation environment, Simulation result show all cases performance supplied mode selected. used economy homes where criteria while hospitals UP-priority recommended because availability what matters. device reduces possibility complete outage event failure any specific Users connect their electronic gadgets device, response time needed switch from one another.
